Opsys is an internal desktop application owned and operated by Grissom, Hoffman + More, PLLC, doing business as GHm Architects ("GHm"). It is used only by GHm employees to manage the firm's own projects, timekeeping, and billing. It has no external users and no public sign-up.
Opsys processes the firm's own business records: project and client information, employee time entries, staffing plans, and invoices. Through its QuickBooks Online integration, Opsys reads and writes accounting records (customers, invoices, and payment status) in GHm's own QuickBooks Online company file. Opsys does not access QuickBooks data belonging to any other company or individual.
Data is stored on firm-managed Windows workstations and in the firm's own Microsoft 365 tenant (SharePoint). Authentication tokens for connected services are stored encrypted on the employee's device. All communication with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365 uses TLS-encrypted connections.
GHm does not sell, rent, or share data handled by Opsys with third parties. Opsys serves no advertising, embeds no analytics or tracking from outside vendors, and does not store payment-card numbers or banking credentials.
Access to Opsys data is limited to GHm employees, with compensation and HR records further restricted to firm principals and administrators.
Business records are retained in accordance with the firm's records-retention practices and applicable professional and tax requirements.
